Gun Dog Training
Meadow Kouffeld has been working with dogs and owned working dogs for over 30 years. She specializes in versatile gun dog training (VDD, JGHV, NAVHDA) and upland gun dog training. Based in North Central Minnesota, Meadow is a grouse and woodcock specialist but has hunted the majority of the game bird species in the lower 48 states and is experienced in working with dogs to prepare them for upland hunting. A minimum of a month is suggested for basic obedience, field handling, and bird handling work (pointing or producing). Your dog will be treated as one of our own and receive daily training sessions. Meadow has been pro-training under Ed Erickson of Autumn Breeze Kennel.

One on One Sessions $60/hour
An offering of one-on-one train the trainer sessions with your gun dog. Dog trainers (beginners to experienced) greatly benefit from working with an experienced trainer and can learn a lot in a short amount of time about themselves, their dog and their training progress. Fully customizable including bird work, field work, forest work, gun introduction guidance, and basic obedience. Schedule a session today!
By the Month $1,400.00/month
A month is the minimum amount of time suggested for a full basic gun dog introduction/puppy training. Services offered during this time includes bird introduction and pointing, gun introduction and proofing, basic obedience, field/forest handling, e-collar conditioning and boarding. Advanced options include but are not limited to trained retrieve, water introduction, wounded game tracking, fall wild bird introduction (grouse and woodcock) and JGHV/VDD VJP training. Dogs are in the home or climate controlled garage at night and clean, secure, elevated kennels during the day when not out working. Large fenced yard for exercise. We feed Purina Pro Plan Sport or your provided dog food. Schedule in advance for ideal times, we have limited openings for client dogs. Lets work together to achieve your goals!
